Chieftain 911 Modern Style Helmet

The Cheiftain 911 helmets have the design and performance features you need. For superior protection against high temperatures and hazardous chemicals, outer shell is made of fiberglass composite. The Chieftain 911 is the lightest fiberglass composite helmet on the market today and its unique impact insert assembly provides the best top and side protection available. A unique depth adjustment on the head band fits virtually any person, and the adjustable front headband fits almost all SCBA facemasks.

• Tough through-color, pigmented fiberglass reinforced, high-temperature composite shell. Resists cracking, chipping, sharp object penetration and hides scratches. Long-lasting, easy-to-clean, high gloss, flame retardant finish resists scratches and ultra-violet rays.
• Highly visible Reflexite™ strips.
• Fleece-lined Nomex ear/neck cover increases protection. Longer ear cover fits tightly against helmet shell to prevent hot gas or flame from reaching inside helmet.
• Three eye protection choices: polycarbonate 4-inch face shield, eye goggles, or 6-inch face shield.
• High temperature edge trim.
• Front headband height adjustment permits use with virtually all SCBA facemasks.
• Impact insert made of heat insulating polyurethane foam is one-piece molded to a PC/ABS laminate flame-resistance inner liner.
• Ratchet adjustable headband.

Both helmets feature improved internal components, better fit and ride, a full choice of NFPA 1971, 2007 Edition and/or OSHA compliant eye protection systems, and dozens of custom options.

Standard colors include black, white, red, yellow, blue, orange and green. Standard chinstrap is Nomex® quick release plus the postman’s buckle slide.
